Qualifications

• Experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and Awards.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to provide coaching and guidance on performance, ER and workplace matters.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
• Assist with investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Prepare contracts, variations and employee documentation.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
• Contribute to HR projects and workforce reporting.
• Promote safe, inclusive and psychologically healthy workplaces.
• Build trusted relationships with employees and managers across business units.

We’re looking for a proactive Human Resources Business Partner who enjoys building strong relationships, providing practical advice and supporting managers through the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work as part of a collaborative corporate HR team and play a key role in delivering consistent, compliant and people‑focused HR support.

What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with leaders to provide coaching and guidance across performance, employee relations and workplace matters
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities
• Assisting with investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes
• Preparing contracts, variations and employee documentation
• Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with legislation, Awards and internal policies
• Contributing to HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and workforce reporting
• Promoting safe, inclusive and psychologically healthy workplaces
• Building trusted relationships with employees and managers across multiple business units

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or generalist HR role
• Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and Awards
• Experience across recruitment, onboarding, ER and performance management
• Confident communication skills and the ability to influence and support stakeholders
• High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and full working rights
