Job summary

Tandem Partners is partnering with a well-known Australian brand to strengthen its People Systems capability. You will lead HR/payroll systems, drive improvements and collaborate with Payroll, People Services, HR and Finance to deliver secure, data-driven insights.

The role offers ownership across system administration, ongoing optimisation and major transformation initiatives including SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Qualifications

  • Experience with HR/payroll systems in admin/specialist roles.
  • Experience with HR/payroll platforms such as SuccessFactors, SAP, Kronos, Workday or similar.
  • Strong system administration, data integrity, security and reporting.
  • Ability to manage requests end-to-end with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting/analytics tools.
  • Exposure to both salaried and hourly workforce environments.
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll processes and awards highly regarded.
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or another complex workforce environment advantageous.
  • Collaborative approach and strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer HR and payroll systems (SAP S/4HANA Payroll, SuccessFactors, Kronos, DoneSafe).
  • Maintain data security, integrity, compliance and performance across the people technology landscape.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Provide system administration, troubleshooting and stakeholder support.
  • Manage position structures, system updates and user access requirements.
  • Develop meaningful reporting, analytics and workforce insights for stakeholders.
  • Partner with Payroll, People Services, HR and Finance to support business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and broader people projects.
  • Act as a trusted SME across people systems and reporting.

About The Role

Reporting to the People Systems Director, this is an exciting opportunity for an People Systems professional to join a collaborative team in a role that offers genuine ownership, variety and impact.

You’ll act as the go-to expert across a range of HR and payroll systems, partnering closely with Payroll, People Services, HR, Finance and external stakeholders. Responsible for maintaining system integrity, security and performance, you’ll also play a key role in systems transformation initiatives, including the implementation of SuccessFactors Employee Central.

This role will suit someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, improving processes and balancing day-to-day systems administration with continuous improvement and project work.

Key Areas of Focus Include
  • Managing and administering HR and payroll systems including SAP S/4HANA Payroll, SuccessFactors, Kronos and DoneSafe
  • Maintaining data security, integrity, compliance and system performance across the people technology landscape
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing optimisation of SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Providing system administration, troubleshooting and support to stakeholders across the business
  • Managing position structures, system updates and user access requirements
  • Developing meaningful reporting, analytics and workforce insights for key stakeholders
  • Partnering with Payroll, People Services, HR and Finance teams to support business priorities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and broader people projects
  • Acting as a trusted subject matter expert across people systems and reporting
About You

You’ll be a systems-focused HR/People professional who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and making things better. Curious, proactive and hands‑on, you’ll thrive in an environment where you can take ownership, build relationships and contribute to meaningful change.

To be successful, you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience working with HR and/or payroll systems from an administration, specialist or systems-focused role
  • Experience with systems such as SuccessFactors, SAP, Kronos, Workday, SmartRecruiters or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of system administration, data integrity, security and reporting
  • Ability to manage requests and initiatives end-to-end while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or similar
  • Exposure to both salaried and hourly workforce environments
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll processes and awards will be highly regarded
  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or another complex workforce environment is advantageous
  • A collaborative approach, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a genuine desire to learn and grow
