Job summary

Whitpro Pty Ltd in the Whitsundays is seeking a skilled and dependable HR/HC Truck Driver / All-Round Operator to support multiple areas of our operations. This is a long-term, stable role offering variety, job security and a welcoming, family-oriented workplace.

You will transport materials to the landscape supply yard, perform local and Townsville deliveries, assist with water deliveries, and help with vehicle and machinery maintenance checks.

Qualifications

• HR licence is mandatory; HC licence preferred.
• Strong driving skills with ability to navigate steep and narrow driveways.
• Experience with crash box gearboxes is advantageous.
• Physically capable of climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and daily vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to/from the landscape supply yard.
• Local and Townsville delivery runs.
• Seasonal water deliveries.
• Assist with vehicle and machinery maintenance checks and reporting.
• Support the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and dependable HR/HC Truck Driver / All-Round Operator to assist across multiple areas of our operations. This is a long-term, stable role offering:

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum HR licence (HC licence preferred)
• Strong driving skills — comfortable navigating steep and narrow driveways (water and landscape deliveries)
• Experience with crash box gearboxes (advantageous but not essential)
• Physically capable of climbing ladders and working at heights (e.g. filling water tanks)
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Basic mechanical knowledge, including daily vehicle checks
