Qualifications

Are you an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in beautiful Far North Queensland? We are seeking a dedicated individuals to join our team in Cairns, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the local region.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role where you will be driving HR tautliner trucks, primarily operating routes from Cairns to Port Douglas, the Tablelands, and Mission Beach. You will be responsible for manually unloading and delivering all loads, requiring a strong work ethic and good physical fitness. Experience operating electronic pallet jacks is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate HR tautliner trucks for deliveries to various locations including Port Douglas, Tablelands, and Mission Beach.
• Manually hand unload and deliver goods at each destination.
• Operate electronic pallet jacks as required.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's License (essential).
• Proven experience driving HR tautliner trucks.
• Experience operating electronic pallet jacks is preferred.
• A strong commitment to safety and adherence to road rules.
• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks consistently.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
• Must be able to pass a Police Check.
• Must be physically fit to pass a pre-employment physical assessment.
• Availability to work staggered starts between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, finishing between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
