Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced HR front, rear and hook lift truck driver to join a leading waste management team. The depot is in Tomago, servicing Newcastle, the Hunter, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast.

You will operate front and/or hook lift trucks, perform pre-start checks, maintain logbooks and uphold high safety standards across varied routes. NSW HR licence and waste-vehicle experience are preferred, with a police clearance and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Waste vehicle operation experience is desirable.
• Ability to pass police clearance and drug screen.
• Clean 5-year Driving History Record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Front and/or Hook Lift waste trucks for commercial/residential collections across Greater Hunter and Central Coast.
• Navigate tight streets and busy loading docks.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and maintain logbooks.
• Maintain safety and reliability on every run.

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Front, Rear & Hook Lift Truck Drivers to join a leading waste management team. While the depot is located in Tomago, you will be servicing a broad region including Newcastle, the Hunter, Lake Macquarie, and the Central Coast.

The Role:

• Operating a Front and/or Hook Lift waste truck for commercial or residential collections across the Greater Hunter and Central Coast regions.

• Navigating various environments, from tight suburban streets to busy commercial loading docks.

• Performing daily vehicle pre-start checks and maintaining accurate logbooks.

• Upholding a high standard of safety and reliability on every run.

What You'll Need:

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence: A clean, valid NSW HR licence is essential.

• Waste Experience: Previous experience operating waste vehicles is highly regarded.

• Service NSW History: Ability to provide a current 5-year Driving History Record.

• Compliance: Must be able to pass a police clearance and a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen.

• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the flexibility to handle varied routes across the region.
