Job summary

Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our Pick Up & Delivery team in Sydney. You'll complete local freight pickups and deliveries while providing excellent customer service and helping keep our network moving safely and efficiently.

This full-time role offers guaranteed hours, Monday to Friday starts at 7:00am, and generous overtime with penalty rates. Home every night, plus annual and personal leave entitlements and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence is required for local freight pickups and deliveries.
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to pass a medical, drug and alcohol screen and criminal history check.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

• Operating tailgates and pallet jacks where required
• Completing delivery paperwork and daily vehicle checks

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing local pickups and deliveries of general freight
• Loading, unloading and securing freight safely
• Operating tailgates and pallet jacks where required
• Completing delivery paperwork and daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance
• Providing professional customer service at every stop

What You’ll Need

• Current HR Licence
• Previous transport or delivery experience preferred
• Forklift Licence advantageous but not essential
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Ability to complete manual handling tasks
• Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screen and criminal history check
