WorkPac is seeking a reliable heavy vehicle driver in the Mackay region to operate collection vehicles, load/unload, and deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities.

The role runs Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, from 5am to 1pm, with overtime as required. A current HR licence (or NZ Class 4), clean driving record, and ability to multitask are essential.

Formación

• Current Drivers Licence
• Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) as minimum
• Clean driving record
• Able to multitask while operating fleet controls

Responsabilidades

• Operate a collection vehicle within the Emerald region and perform side arm lift loading/unloading tasks.
• Operate company collection vehicles and equipment.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Conduct daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Interact with clients and safely load and unload trucks

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of industrial and environmental services, delivering safe and efficient waste management, cleaning and maintenance solutions across the resources, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

What you will be doing:

• Operating a collection vehicle within the wider Emerald region. This includes side arm lift loading/unloading tasks
• Operation of company collection vehicles and equipment
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck

What you will need:

• Current Drivers License
• Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) Licence (as a minimum)
• Clean driving record
• Experienced in multi-tasking our fleet requires you to operate controls manually
