Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a reliable Heavy Vehicle Operator in Sydney to drive MC vehicles for deliveries and collections across Sydney, including trailer hookups. You will coordinate traffic, maintain equipment, and support workshop and yard operations with on-site safety in mind.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted manual driver’s licence and LF forklift licence; experience in transport/logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted manual driver’s licence – ideal.
• LF Forklift Licence – ideal.
• Experience in transport, heavy vehicles, logistics, or yard operations.
• Commitment to safety and a clean, organised work environment.
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Drive MC vehicles for deliveries and collections across Sydney, including hooking up and disconnecting trailers.

• Coordinate heavy vehicles in and out of the workshop and assist with site traffic management.
• Wash, clean and detail heavy vehicles and trailers.
• Assist with workshop, yard and site maintenance duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop, yard and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and hazards across the site.
• Manage onsite skips and ensure materials are disposed of correctly.
• Provide general labouring and stores assistance to operations and spare parts teams.

Our client is a leading organisation in the transport and heavy vehicle industry, providing quality services and maintaining a busy workshop and yard environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Driving MC vehicles for deliveries and collections across Sydney, including hooking up and disconnecting trailers.

Safely transporting equipment between customers, suppliers and various locations.

Coordinating heavy vehicles in and out of the workshop and assisting with site traffic management.

Washing, cleaning and detailing heavy vehicles and trailers.

Assisting with workshop, yard and site maintenance duties.

Maintaining a clean and safe workshop, yard and equipment.

Reporting maintenance issues and hazards across the site.

Managing onsite skips and ensuring materials are disposed of correctly.

Providing general labouring and stores assistance to the operations and spare parts teams.

What You Will Need

Unrestricted manual driver’s licence – ideal.

LF Forklift Licence – ideal.

Previous experience in transport, heavy vehicles, logistics, yard operations or labouring.

Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.

Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
