Job summary

WorkPac is currently seeking a capable HR Multi System Operator to join our Emerald operations in Queensland. You will operate a Hook collection vehicle within the Emerald region, perform pre-starts, and ensure safe loading and unloading of loads to recycling and disposal facilities.

You will hold an unrestricted HR (AU) or Class 4 (NZ) licence, have a current drivers licence, and be comfortable multi-tasking across vehicle controls.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current driver's license and an unrestricted HR (Australia) or Class 4 (NZ).
• Experience operating a Hook collection vehicle.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable.
• Able to multi-task and operate controls manually.

Responsibilities

• Operate a collection vehicle within the Emerald region.
• Load/unload using side arm methods and drive to facilities.
• Perform daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles.
• Interact with clients and ensure safe loading/unloading of trucks.

Emerald – HR Multi System Operator: What you will be doing:

• Operating a collection vehicle within the wider Emerald region. This includes side arm lift loading/unloading tasks
• Operation of company collection vehicles and equipment
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck

What you will need:

• Current Drivers License
• Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) Licence (as a minimum)
• Experience operating a Hook collection vehicle
• Experience in the waste industry desirable
• Experienced in multi-tasking – our fleet requires you to operate controls manually
