Not disclosed is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with operations leadership in Melbourne's north-west suburbs. The role will balance hands-on, boots-on-ground HR with governance and strategic capability, spanning blue‑collar unionised shop floor teams through to management.

You will provide HR advice to the Operations Director and across the business, guiding policy interpretation, recruitment strategies, and change processes while supporting workforce and succession planning,

Qualifications

• HR generalist experience in a construction/building/heavy industrial manufacturing environment with a blue-collar workforce.
• Strong ability to influence and manage stakeholders, with emphasis on the shop floor.
• Proven change management experience and a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Experience in payroll processing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice to Operations Director and across the business.
• Give strategic and operational HR guidance on policies, employment legislation, recruitment and change processes.
• Lead workforce and succession planning initiatives.
• Identify and manage training needs for the business.
• Prepare and manage staff employment agreements.
• Coordinate onboarding from day one through probation.
