Peoplecorp is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a fixed-term contract in Brisbane, Australia. Reporting to the Vice President Operations, you will lead the people agenda, partnering with senior operational leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives.

The Organisation

We are partnering with a leading organisation within the resources sector, operating in a complex, highly industrialised environment. With a strong focus on operational excellence, safety and continuous improvement, they are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the business on a fixed-term contract.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Vice President Operations, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR leader to take ownership of the people agenda, partnering closely with senior operational leaders to deliver both strategic and operational HR initiatives. A significant focus of the role will be managing the industrial relations landscape, including enterprise bargaining negotiations, union engagement, workplace investigations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industrial instruments. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to navigate workforce challenges and support organisational change.

The Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in complex, industrial environments, ideally within mining, resources, manufacturing or similarly heavily unionised sectors. You will bring extensive employee and industrial relations expertise, including hands-on experience with enterprise bargaining negotiations, alongside a proven ability to influence and partner with senior operational stakeholders. You will be a confident, commercially minded HR leader who is comfortable managing complex people matters, driving change and leading high-performing teams.
