A senior people leadership role at a fast-growing, internationally expanding property and hospitality business with a multi-country presence. Reporting to the COO, you'll own the full people agenda and play a central role in shaping and executing global people strategy as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

This is a role with genuine scope, covering everything from culture and compliance through to talent strategy and organisational development, suited to someone who can operate strategically and roll up their sleeves when needed.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Drive global people strategy in partnership with the COO, CFO and senior leaders, ensuring people priorities are aligned with broader business objectives
  • Lead workforce planning, leadership development and change management across multiple markets, with a focus on building future-ready teams
  • Play an active role in shaping the people approach as the business continues to grow and expand internationally
  • Lead organisational design and development initiatives that support scalability and performance
Operational & Legal
  • Own compliance across employment law, modern awards, WHS, Fair Work, and relevant industrial instruments across all operating markets
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for legal and risk-related matters in Australia
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and frameworks that are scalable, values aligned and built to support continued growth
  • Ensure consistent and compliant people practices across all business units and locations
Culture & People Experience
  • Build and sustain a high performance, inclusive culture across all teams and locations
  • Lead performance management, engagement, retention and wellbeing programs, with a focus on meaningful outcomes rather than process for its own sake
  • Support and coach leaders and managers through complex team and organisational challenges
  • Use employee feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and drive ongoing enhancements to the people experience
Talent & Development
  • Oversee national recruitment strategy, employer branding and onboarding to attract and retain strong talent across both frontline and corporate teams
  • Implement tools and processes across the end to end recruitment lifecycle to improve efficiency and candidate experience
  • Design and drive talent development frameworks including training, career pathways and succession planning
  • Leverage people data and insights to continuously improve engagement and retention outcomes
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role with accountability for a broad people function
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, IR, modern awards and complex employee matters
  • Experience operating across multi entity environments with both frontline and corporate workforces
  • A track record of building and scaling HR functions in fast paced, high growth businesses
  • Experience in hospitality, property, or service led industries is well regarded, as is experience in scale-up or high growth environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner at executive and board level
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to move between strategic thinking and operational delivery
