Job summary

On Line Recruitment is seeking reliable HR Drivers to join a road maintenance crew for a 12-month project in the Shoalhaven region. You will deliver materials to roadwork sites and assist with patching, resealing, and general road maintenance, in a safety-focused team environment.

The role offers local work with a 9-day fortnight, early start times, and a casual contract up to 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HR truck to transport roadwork materials, including hot mix asphalt
• Pick up and deliver materials to various work sites throughout the Shoalhaven
• Assist road crews with screeding and spreading hot mix
• Support road patching, resealing and general road maintenance activities
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively within an experienced road maintenance crew

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused HR Drivers to join a road maintenance crew working across the Shoalhaven region.

Working as part of an established team, you will be responsible for delivering materials to roadwork sites and assisting with a variety of road maintenance activities, including patching, resealing and repairing local roads.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent local work on a project expected to run for up to 12 months. With multiple positions available, an immediate start and a 9-day fortnight, this role offers great work-life balance while allowing you to stay close to home.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to:

• Safely operate an HR truck to transport roadwork materials, including hot mix asphalt
• Pick up and deliver materials to various work sites throughout the Shoalhaven

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous HR driving experience, ideally within civil construction or road maintenance
• Ability to assist with manual road maintenance tasks, including shovelling, screeding and general labouring duties
• Is safety-focused with a strong work ethic
• Enjoys working outdoors as part of a team
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Can follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Is physically capable of assisting with manual labour when required

Essential Requirements

• Current HR Driver Licence
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required
• Full Australian working rights

What We Offer
