Job summary

Labourforce is seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our client’s operations in Smithfield, NSW. The role offers ongoing full-time hours, a stable environment, and clear overtime opportunities on a fleet handling plasterboard, steel beams and building products.

You will operate Heavy Rigid flat-bed trucks, manage loading/unloading, secure loads, and deliver across Sydney Metro and Central Coast regions, with overtime penalties and a start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Must have an HR Truck Licence.
• Experience driving manual synchro gearbox trucks.
• Proven ability to handle long loads and freight via road networks.

Responsibilities

• Operate Heavy Rigid (HR) flat-bed trucks.
• Deliver plasterboard, steel beams and building products.
• Load and unload trucks and secure loads.

HR Delivery Drivers Wanted - Smithfield Location

HR Truck Driver - Smithfield | $39/hr + Overtime | Full-Time Hours

Our client, a leading international manufacturing and distribution company, is currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join their growing team based in Smithfield.

• Location: Smithfield, NSW
• Shift: Monday to Friday
• Start Time: Between 6:00am - 7:00am
• Shifts will be 8 hours a day with overtime where required,
• Pay Rate: $39 per hour + overtime penalties
• Work Type: Ongoing casual with temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Heavy Rigid (HR) flat-bed trucks
• Delivering plasterboard, steel beams, and building products
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Securing loads using straps and load binders
• Completing deliveries across Sydney Metro and Central Coast regions
• Assisting with warehouse duties including pick packing when required
• Maintaining compliance with fatigue management and load restraint regulations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current HR Truck Licence
• Experience driving manual synchro gearbox trucks
• Minimum 2 years' HR driving experience
• Proven experience transporting and handling long loads
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Fatigue Management
  • Load Restraints
  • Chain of Responsibility (COR)
• Current RMS Driver History Report
• Good knowledge of Sydney Metro, Central Coast, and Wollongong areas
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• The ability to lift up to 25kg
• Own reliable transport
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends
• Availability to start ASAP
