Job summary

Embodied Recruitment partners with a national business of about 100 employees, predominantly supporting a blue-collar workforce across multiple locations. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the day-to-day HR function and partner with managers and staff nationwide.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, HR systems, payroll support, and policy development with autonomy to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience across blue and white-collar environments.
• Strong end-to-end recruitment experience.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards.
• Ability to work independently and manage broad HR activities.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding: end-to-end processes and onboarding/offboarding.
• Employee engagement & retention initiatives, pulse checks and exit interviews.
• Performance & development: coordinate reviews and support managers.
• HR systems & reporting: own Employment Hero and HR data.
• Employee relations: provide practical support and escalate complex matters.
• Policies & procedures: maintain and improve HR policies.
• Payroll & compliance: support payroll, leave, and entitlements; ensure compliance.
• People projects: support remuneration reviews and talent development.
