Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Driver with a HR licence to join our Townsville team. You will safely operate vehicles for Veolia’s Waste line of business, collecting waste and recyclables on long-term contracts and delivering to disposal sites.

A safety conscious mindset and strong knowledge of Townsville are essential, with training and career progression available. The role offers a Monday to Friday roster with overtime and penalty rates.

Qualifications

• Good geographical knowledge of Townsville and surrounding suburbs.
• Safety conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Working on secure long term contracts collecting waste and recyclables.
• Collection and transportation of multiple waste streams to disposal locations.
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment.
• Attention to detail for all paperwork.
