Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is hiring an HR Driver based at our Toowoomba depot, commencing at 5:30 am. The role involves operating a collection vehicle, loading/unloading tasks, and servicing customers across the region. Weekend overtime may be available and the position is permanent full-time.

The ideal candidate will hold an HR licence or higher, have a reliable attitude, be willing to learn, and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check paid by Cleanaway.

Qualifications

• Must be available for 5.30 am starts.
• HR Licence as a minimum.
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway).

Responsibilities

• Operate a collection vehicle (hook lift, rear, front lift and side lift).
• Service customers across the Toowoomba region.
• Carry out loading/unloading tasks as required.

The Opportunity

Based at our Toowoomba depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a collection vehicle. This may include Hook lift, rear, front lift and side lift loading/unloading tasks, servicing our customers across the region.

About You

• Must be available for 5.30 am starts
• HR Licence as a minimum
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
• To be considered for this role, you must be able to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway)
• Waste industry experience is not required (highly regarded)
