Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced HR Driver based at the Port Douglas depot to operate waste collection vehicles across the region, including rear-lift, side-lift and hook trucks. This role requires early starts and a valid HR licence, with induction and uniform provided.

The position offers a starting hourly rate of $34.39 plus super, with Sunday to Thursday shifts and opportunities for ongoing training and career development within Australia’s largest waste management company.

Qualifications

• Must be available for 4.45 - 5.45 am starts.
• HR Licence as a minimum.
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Waste industry experience is not required (highly regarded).

The Opportunity:

Based at our Port Douglas depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a waste collection vehicle. This may include rear-lift, side-lift, and hook trucks (RORO), servicing our customers across the region.
