Job summary

REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd in Rocklea, QLD is seeking a reliable driver to operate rear lift, hook lift or front lift vehicles for commercial waste collection. This full-time role involves early starts and on-site duties in a safety-first workplace focused on sustainable waste management.

You will work a Monday–Friday roster with weekend work and overtime opportunities, benefits including a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 and Fitness Passport access for nationwide gym facilities.

Qualifications

• A valid HR licence is required.
• Experience with rear lift, hook lift or front lift is preferred.
• Safety-first attitude and reliability are essential.
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Rear Lift, Hook Lift, or Front Lift to collect and transport commercial waste.
• Operate safely in varying weather and road conditions, including unsealed surfaces.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and complete compliance paperwork.
• Perform manual handling tasks, must be physically fit.

• Operate safely in varying weather and road conditions, including unsealed surfaces
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and complete compliance paperwork
• Perform manual handling tasks, must be physically fit

What you’ll bring

• A current HR license is required, waste industry experience is a bonus
• Experience with garbage trucks such as Rear Lift, Hook Lift or Front Lift
• A reliable, flexible, and safety-first attitude
• Solid knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
