Job summary

REMONDIS Australia is seeking a Front Lift truck operator in Canberra, ACT to collect, transport, and dispose of recyclable materials and waste from commercial and industrial sites. You will perform daily safety checks, maintain paperwork, and uphold a professional appearance in all duties.

The role requires a current HR licence and driving experience, with a safety-first mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in varying weather conditions.

• Current HR licence and driving experience is essential.
• Solid knowledge of transport safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in waste industry is desirable but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Front Lift truck to collect, transport, and dispose of recyclable materials locally
• Transport waste from commercial & industrial sites to landfill
• Work safely in variable weather and road conditions, including unsealed surfaces
• Complete daily safety checks and paperwork
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean work environment
