Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management in Rokeby, TAS is seeking a driver to service multiple customer sites, collect packaged liquid waste, and transport it to our recycling plant. You will operate vehicles and equipment in line with company rules and maintain accurate records.

You must hold aHR Licence with a clean driving record and a forklift licence. Availability for up to 10-hour days and regional overnight stays is required; uniforms, PPE, and safety training are provided.

Job description

• Permanent Fulltime - Rokeby, Tasmania
• $33.66 per hour + penalties for overtime
• Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5 am start time
• Overtime as required - all overtime paid at overtime rates
• Uniforms and PPE provided
• Induction and training provided

Your New Role

Based at our Rokeby site, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. Your role includes collecting packaged liquid waste and transporting it to our recycling plant. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations and complete all paperwork and records accurately.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

• A HR Licence with a clean driving record
• Forklift licence essential, but Cleanaway may be willing to assist.
• Available to do up to 10-hour days when required
• Must be able to do regional overnight stays several times per month (Meal allowance and accommodation provided)
• Zero Harm Safety mindset
• Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol tests
