Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a reliable HR-licensed Hook Driver for a busy recycling yard in Brisbane. The role is site-based, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm with some overtime and a clear temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate.

Full training will be provided on operating the hook truck, and you will be responsible for moving skips, maintaining safe yard operations, and supporting a fast-paced team while following WH&S practices.

Are you a reliable HR licence holder looking for steady Monday-to-Friday hours in a hands-on yard role? We are seeking a Hook Driver to join a busy recycling operation, running skips back and forth on site to keep operations flowing smoothly. This role is entirely site-based — no off-site runs required — and suits someone who's dependable, safety-conscious, and happy to get stuck into a fast-paced environment. Full training on operating the hook truck will be provided, so all you need is the right licence and the right attitude. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person looking to settle into a long-term role.

Required Skills:

• Current HR licence

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience operating a hook truck or similar plant
• Background in recycling, waste management, or yard operations

Other Requirements:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with some overtime as required

• Willingness to get hands-on in a physically demanding, outdoor yard environment
