Job summary

Tandem Partners Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a 180-strong client group across multiple locations. This generalist role focuses on employee relations, leadership coaching, workforce insights and organisational effectiveness.

You will partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing and operational retail channels, delivering strategic and operational HR support, coaching through complex matters and providing data-driven insights to influence decisions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong employee relations capability with exposure to performance management and workplace investigations.
• Experience with Awards, Enterprise Agreements and broader industrial relations matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management with influence and coaching skills.
• Commercially minded with ability to use data to support decisions.
• Familiar with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS.

About the Role: Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, this HR Business Partner role supports a commercial client group of approximately 180 employees across multiple locations. Partnering with leaders across Sales, Marketing and operational retail channels, you'll play a key role in driving people outcomes, building leadership capability and supporting business performance.

This is a true generalist HR Business Partner role with a strong focus on employee relations, leadership coaching, workforce insights and organisational effectiveness.

About You:

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong employee relations capability with exposure to performance management and workplace investigations.
• Experience working with Awards, Enterprise Agreements and broader industrial relations matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and coach leaders.
• Commercially minded with the ability to use data and insights to support decision-making.
• Able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on HR delivery.
• Experience within FMCG, retail, hospitality, consumer goods or similarly fast-paced environments will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors or a similar HRIS.
