Job summary

SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network seeks an HR Assistant supporting the Trainee Medical Officer Unit. This fixed-term, full-time role runs through to April 2027, offering exposure to the full employment lifecycle for junior doctors within a major public health network in Adelaide.

You'll report to the Office Manager, handle CHRIS data entry, assist with salary determinations and contracts, and provide HR guidance on awards, EBAs, visa and AHPRA requirements, while delivering

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills for high-quality customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with email, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Experience with HR admin systems and processes.
• Experience supporting a diverse team in a busy environment.
• Experience maintaining databases, data entry and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer support via reception.
• Maintain and enter data in CHRIS HRIS (Complete HR Information System 21).
• Assist HR Advisor with salary determinations and contracts; advise on Awards, EBAs, Salary Sacrifice, visas and AHPRA requirements for TMOs.
• Demonstrate flexibility and assist team members to deliver high-quality service.
• Liaise with TMO HR Case Coordinators to ensure timely processing of applications and outcomes.
