Job summary

CIVILMART is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our QLD People team, partnering with site leadership across Cairns, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast and other locations. You’ll deliver practical HR support across the employee lifecycle while coaching leaders to strengthen people capability on manufacturing sites.

You’ll operate across multiple sites, handle employee relations matters, and provide timely guidance on the Fair Work Act, NES, awards and enterprise agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Advisor role supporting operational, industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong employee relations capability and confidence managing workplace matters independently.
• Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Award interpretation.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work autonomously across multiple sites and travel regularly across QLD.

Responsibilities

• Managing employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, performance management and disciplinary processes
• Providing advice on the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
• Building strong professional relationships with site and operational leaders
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities

• Supporting employee development, engagement and retention initiatives
• Partnering with leaders to strengthen accountability, performance and workplace culture
• Supporting organisational change and business growth initiatives
• Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to deliver people outcomes across QLD operations

At IPA/Civilmart, we're preparing for growth and we're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our QLD People team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships on the ground, partnering with operational leaders, being at operational sites, managing employee relations matters and helping strengthen people capability across multiple manufacturing sites.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll support our operations across Cairns, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, Narangba, Heathwood, Larapinta, Toowoomba, Stapylton, Ormeau, and Molendinar. Success in this role will come from being present in the business, understanding the challenges facing our leaders and teams, and providing practical HR support where it matters most.

About the Role

You will partner with site leadership teams across QLD, providing practical and commercially focused HR support across the employee lifecycle.

This role requires someone who can operate independently, manage competing priorities across multiple locations and confidently coach leaders through day-to-day people matters.

Your focus will include:

• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving capability
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel regularly across QLD

Experience within manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, logistics or other blue-collar environments will be highly regarded.
