Job summary

Alstom is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a permanent role at the Ballarat, VIC site. You will support key stakeholders and people managers with proactive HR guidance, governance training, and practical people-management solutions to maintain a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a tertiary degree in a related field.
• Significant experience in employment/labour law within an operational environment.
• Able to negotiate and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in a complex industrial environment.
• Knowledge of industrial relations principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach managers in performance management discussions.
• Provide governance training on employment law and 'Respect at Work' to managers.
• Advise on site communications and HR projects with an IR/ER focus.
• Deliver the Performance Management Cycle including reviews, salary adjustments, and succession planning.
• Assist with Ballarat-related Compensation & Benefits activities.
• Provide reporting and data analytics for area of responsibility.
