Jump Trading Group is seeking an HPC Operations Engineer to support 24/7 Linux HPC compute, storage, and interconnects across Sydney and Mumbai offices. You’ll handle incidents, maintenance, and automation while collaborating with global teams to ensure high performance and reliability.

The role requires strong Linux skills, HPC tooling experience, and the ability to work evenings/weekends as part of on-call rotations. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional Linux experience.
• HPC knowledge with parallel filesystems and batch systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line operational support for 24/7 Linux HPC compute/storage.
• Respond to alerts and incidents; manage problem lifecycle.
• Participate in large maintenance windows including evenings/weekends.
• Write code to diagnose, resolve, and automate tasks.
• Collaborate across teams to build testing infrastructures.
