Job summary

Jump Trading Group is seeking an HPC Operations Engineer to join our Sydney and Mumbai offices. You will provide frontline support for 24/7 Linux HPC compute, storage, and interconnects, handle issue lifecycle, and drive automation for complex environments.

You will work on global infrastructure projects, collaborate with teams, and travel to vendor meetings as needed. Expect on-call rotations and office-based work five days a week, with occasional maintenance windows and travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional Linux experience.
• HPC experience with parallel filesystems and batch systems is a plus.
• Strong scripting ability and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 Linux HPC compute, storage, and interconnect support.
• Diagnose, triage, and automate recurring tasks and issues.
• Respond to alerts and participate in large maintenance windows.
• Collaborate on code and testing across multiple languages.
• Travel domestically and internationally to vendor meetings.
