Job summary

Serco Limited in Liverpool is recruiting for a Housing Officer to support the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC). The role requires a full-time schedule with 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends on a rota basis, and a valid UK driving licence.

You will deliver core service user support, conduct monthly property inspections, provide welfare signposting, and respond to issues under the AIRE framework, ensuring safety and compliance across IA locations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of working in a service environment.
• Knowledge/experience of working within a property related environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core Service User support services as prescribed under the contract.
• Provide inductions for all new Service Users to the IA, ensuring understanding of services, property and behaviour standards.
• Respond to requests for assistance and support via the AIRE Services.
• Manage incidents raised by the AIRE Services.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on visits, inspections, repairs and incidents.
