Job summary

Council Jobs in Queensland is seeking a Housing Officer to support social housing tenants and applicants. You will deliver high quality customer service, manage tenancies and contribute to sustainable communities.

The role involves rent monitoring, assisting applicants, inspections, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining tenancy records in line with policies. The position offers full-time, permanent employment with alignment to Council's housing objectives and demographic needs in the Torres

About the role:

The Housing Officer plays a key role in supporting Council's social housing tenants and applicants. You will provide high quality customer service and effective tenancy management while ensuring Council's social housing policies and procedures are followed.

Working closely with tenants and community members, you will help maintain sustainable tenancies, assist applicants through the housing process, and contribute to maintaining safe and well-managed housing assets.

As the Housing Officer, you will be responsible for:
