Job summary

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland is seeking a Housing Officer to work from our Rockhampton office and deliver compassionate housing services to tenants in need. You will manage a small portfolio, connect tenants with support, and work as part of a statewide team, maintaining strong relationships with service providers.

The role is permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) based in Rockhampton, with a focus on community impact and compliant housing practices.

Qualifications

As aHousing Officerwith Vinnies Housing, you'll work from ourRockhamptonbased office and be part of a supportive, state-wide team delivering compassionate housing services to people in need. You'll manage a small, focused portfolio that allows you to truly connect with tenants and help sustain long-term housing outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Build respectful, supportive relationships with tenants to help them sustain their housing
• Deliver day-to-day tenancy and property management services
• Support tenants who may be experiencing complex circumstances and connect them with appropriate services where required
• Collaborate with internal teams and local service providers
• Ensure tenancy and property compliance in line with relevant policies and legislation
• Connect tenants with appropriate support services to meet their individual needs
• Conduct tenants visits as required to provide ongoing tenancy and client support

This is aPermanent,Part-time(20hours per week) position, based inRockhampton.
