Job summary

Talison Lithium's Greenbushes Lithium Operation is seeking a Housing & Facilities Trades Assistant to support maintenance, housekeeping and grounds tasks across housing and village facilities.

Reporting to the Housing & Property Supervisor, you will work with tradespeople to keep accommodation safe, clean and well-presented, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a residential site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, construction, gardening, facilities or similar hands-on environment.
• Ability to safely use tools and equipment and undertake physical work.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and take pride in the quality of your work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and assist across a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintenance, repairs and general property upkeep across housing and facilities.
• Supporting tradespeople with tools, equipment and materials.
• Completing cleaning, housekeeping and accommodation presentation activities.
• Carrying out gardening, grounds maintenance and weed control tasks.
• Reporting maintenance issues, defects and safety hazards.
• Completing basic work records and checklists.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

About The Role

Reporting to the Housing & Property Supervisor, the Housing & Facilities Trades Assistant plays an important hands-on role supporting the maintenance, presentation and upkeep of Talison Lithium’s housing, property and village accommodation facilities. Working closely with tradespeople, operators and gardeners, you will assist with a variety of maintenance, housekeeping and grounds maintenance activities to help ensure company facilities remain safe, functional and well-presented.

Responsibilities Include
