Job summary

RACV Noosa Resort in Queensland is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the Houseperson team. You will maintain a clean, five-star environment across outdoor areas and support housekeeping operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role is casual with standard shifts from early morning and daytime hours. Cross-training in public areas is encouraged to cover absences, with a focus on safety and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely.
• Experience in general cleaning with health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of balconies, pathways, stairs, windows, doors and other outdoor areas.
• Provide guests with linen, cots, high chairs and other amenities on request.
• Remove soiled linen and replenish linen stocks.
• Check levels of linen, amenities and chemicals; stocktake items held by Housekeeping.
• Clean internal/external back-of-house and public areas as required.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking person/s to join our Houseperson team. This role will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy five-star environment throughout the resorts external areas.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Perform manual handling tasks inclusive of, cleaningbalconies, pathways, stairs, windows,doorsand other outdoor areas asrequired;
• Provide guests withadditionalproducts on request such as linen, cots,high chairs, rollaway beds, amenities or serviceadhocrequests;
• Remove soiled linen and replenish linen stocks throughout the resort;
• Check levels of linen, amenities and chemicals and stocktaking of items held by Housekeeping; and
• Perform cleaning duties in internal/external back of house and public areasasrequired.

These are casual positions.

Standard shifts will generally be6:00am to 2:00pm or 8.00am to 4:00pm.

Flexibility to be cross trained in public areas to cover absentisim highly regarded

What you’ll need to be successful

• The ability to comfortably lift 20kgs and perform repetitive manual tasks safely;
• Experience in general cleaning including best health and safety practices and chemical handling techniques;
• A can-do attitude and a positive approach to work;
• Strong attention to detail and solid time management skills;
• Ability to work independently and be a proactive team member;
