Song Properties group is seeking a proactive Houseperson to support our Housekeeping team at our Brisbane property. You will help keep guest rooms and public areas clean, stocked, and well-organised, delivering attentive service and maintaining high standards of presentation.

You will collaborate with supervisors and managers to move linen, chemicals, amenities and equipment, while prioritising safety, privacy and guest satisfaction on a rotating roster including weekends.

Competenze

• Previous experience in Housekeeping, Hotel Operations, Cleaning or Hospitality (preferred but not essential)
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling and lifting duties
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

As a Houseperson, you will play an essential role in supporting the Housekeeping department by ensuring the hotel is well-stocked, clean, organised, and operating efficiently. Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager and Supervisors, you will assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Support the Housekeeping team with the distribution of linen, chemicals, guest amenities, and housekeeping supplies.

Perform manual handling duties, including moving linen, equipment, rollaway beds and cots.

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping storerooms, service areas, trolleys and equipment.

Keep guest corridors and back-of-house areas clean, safe and free from obstructions.

Ensure housekeeping equipment is maintained, cleaned and stored correctly.

Assist with general housekeeping operations as directed by Supervisors and Management.

About you
