Elements of Byron is seeking a hands-on housekeeping leader to elevate luxury guest experiences on our fifty-acre beachfront property in Byron Bay. You will lead by example, oversee daily room presentation, and drive a high-performing team in a fast-paced resort environment.

This senior role requires a calm, solutions-focused approach, excellent communication, and a commitment to consistency, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Managers, you will play a key role in leading, supporting, and developing a high-performing housekeeping team. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who takes pride in standards, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely enjoys bringing out the best in others.

You will lead by example on the floor, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet luxury presentation standards while maintaining strong team culture, efficiency, and attention to detail.

You are a confident and organised leader with a strong eye for detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach. You enjoy motivating teams, setting clear expectations, and creating a positive and professional working environment.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within housekeeping or a similar operational environment
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a guest-focused team
• Well presented with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a luxury hotel or resort environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a focus on quality and consistency
• High attention to detail and pride in presentation standards
• Experience operating resort buggies and a current driver’s licence
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
