Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a large housekeeping team at Eureka Village in Central Queensland. The role is physical and hands-on, and offers fly-in fly-out from Brisbane or drive-in drive-out from Mackay and nearby areas.

You will train, lead and motivate the team to meet contractual standards, conduct prestart meetings, address performance issues, reinforce safe work practices and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team.
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable).
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance.
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test.
• Standard 11 Certificate (desirable).

Responsibilities

Housekeeping Supervisor

• $85,218 + super
• The roster is 9 days on, 5 days off (10x hour shifts)
• Accommodation and meals provided
• The role is fly in fly out (FIFO) from Brisbane or drive in drive out (DIDO) from Mackay and local region

Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Eureka Village.

The Position
