Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead remote accommodation villages in Moura, Central Queensland. This drive‑in, drive‑out role operates 14 days on, 10 days off and requires hands‑on leadership.

You will train and motivate the team, ensure facilities meet contractual standards, and work with management to maintain safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in mine site or housekeeping environments.
• Experience in hotel, mining, or resort housekeeping preferred.
• Open Australian Drivers Licence.
• Ability to lead a team and own performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a housekeeping team to ensure cleaning and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Train, lead and motivate your team in collaboration with management.
• Work hands-on with the team to maintain operations and safety.

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to work on our remote accommodation villages in Moura, Central Queensland.

This role is 14 days on, 10 days off 10 day and is drive-in, drive-out, therefore locals are encouraged to apply.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results
• This is a physical, hands-on role, where you are expected to also work alongside the team

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role- Mine Site and Housekeeping Cleaning experience will be highly regarded
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Open Australian Drivers License
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
