Job summary

Silk Hospitality in Bondi Beach, NSW is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a busy team and uphold 4-5 star standards. This permanent part-time role includes on-the-job training and a competitive hourly rate.

You will supervise room cleanliness, manage allocations, inspections, linen control, and ensure guest privacy and safety while delivering excellent service. You should have previous housekeeping or supervisory experience, be available to work 5 days per week, at least 30 hours, and

• Previous housekeeping and/or supervisory experience.
• Flexibility to work across 5 days per week, including weekends if required.
• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Professional presentation with a strong focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
• Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the housekeeping team to consistently deliver 4 to 5-star service standards.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are presented to the highest standard, including detailed cleaning, bed making, and replenishment of amenities.
• Supervise daily operations, including room allocations, inspections, and team productivity.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of work areas, service pantries, and public spaces.
• Oversee linen control, including sorting, counting, and stock management.
• Uphold guest privacy, security, and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures and promptly report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Provide hands-on support and assist with operational requirements as needed.
