Job summary

G'day Group is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for our Onslow, WA park to lead the housekeeping team and ensure top standards of cleanliness across accommodation, amenities and public areas. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating daily operations, supporting team members, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have housekeeping leadership experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and WHS knowledge.

• Experience in housekeeping in hospitality, holiday park, hotel or resort environments.
• Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support housekeeping team members.
• Allocate daily cleaning schedules and monitor workflow.
• Inspect accommodation units, amenities and public areas.
• Ensure rooms and facilities are presented to company standards.
• Manage supplies, linen inventory and ordering.
• Monitor safe work practices and compliance with WHS procedures.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead by example and assist with cleaning during peak periods.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain records, checklists and housekeeping reports.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Onslow WA housekeeping team and ensure all accommodation, amenities, and public areas of the park are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and order. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting team members, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Supervise, train, and support housekeeping team members.
• Allocate daily cleaning schedules and monitor workflow efficiency.
• Conduct inspections of accommodation units, amenities, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure all rooms and facilities are prepared and presented to company standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and ordering requirements.
• Monitor safe work practices and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
• Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Lead by example and assist with cleaning duties during busy periods.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records, checklists, and housekeeping reports.

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality, holiday park, hotel, or resort environment.
• Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible approach to working weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Current driver's license
