Job summary

Novotel West HQ is seeking a casual Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards. You will restock amenities, present rooms guest-ready, and support cleaning projects as needed, contributing directly to guest comfort and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, be reliable and physically fit, with a guest-first mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotels, hospitals, commercial cleaning)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for a hands-on role
• Able to work independently and within a supportive team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Friendly and respectful with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to demonstrate and understand safe work practices
• Experience working with chemicals

Job description

At Novotel West HQ, we believe in creating memorable experiences through comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering the polished, welcoming environment our guests expect and love.

We are currently recruiting for aguest oriented and dedicated Room Attendant to join our friendly team on a casual basis. As part of your day you will be responsible for the cleaning and resetting of our guest rooms, maintaining our cleaning trolleys and ensuring they always remain stocked and participating and supporting special cleaning projects as they arise. Your work will directly impact the guest experience - helping them feel relaxed, valued, and at home.

The day-to-day:

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to Novotel brand standards

Restock amenities and ensure room presentation is guest-ready

Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly

Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and timelines

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in back-of-house housekeeping areas

Provide friendly and respectful interactions with guests and team members
