Job summary

Minor Hotels is expanding its housekeeping team across our Sydney properties, including Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites, Hyde Park Suites, Castlereagh Suites and North Ryde.

As a Housekeeping Attendant you will clean guest rooms, maintain high standards, lift safety procedures and work on a rotating roster.

We value detail orientation, teamwork and flexibility, with shifts from 8:00am–9:00am and weekend/public holiday availability highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Professional communication skills and a team-focused approach.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical handling is advantageous, with training provided.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and apartments, including making beds, vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
• Completing cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety procedures and company standards.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with all training and tools provided.
• Building positive working relationships with team members, guests and contractors.
• Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring guest areas are presented to the highest standard.
