Minor Hotels, owner-operator of Oaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort, is expanding its housekeeping team with casual roles across a rotating Monday to Sunday roster. Earn hourly rates ranging from approximately $34 to $46, with shifts starting between 8:00am and 9:00am and comprehensive safety training provided.

Successful applicants will bring pride in cleanliness, attention to detail, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays in a dynamic guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
• High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
• Good physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks (bending, lifting, standing).
• Professional and clear communication with guests and team members.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and attitude.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Oaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiplecasual opportunities now available.

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.

• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
Saturday: $39.66 per hour
Sunday: $46.27 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
