Job summary

Oaks Brisbane River City Suites, part of Minor Hotels, is expanding its housekeeping team with multiple casual opportunities. Candidates should be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a team environment.

Shifts rotate across Monday to Sunday, with start times between 8:00am and 9:00am. Hourly rates range from 32.31 to 45.24 AUD per hour, excluding superannuation, and prior housekeeping experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Good physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to high standards, including beds, floors, and bathrooms.
• Complete tasks efficiently within allocated hours.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily cleaning targets and goals.

Oaks Brisbane River City Suitesis excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiplecasualopportunities now available.

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
