Job summary

Minor Hotels, owner of the Oaks Adelaide Horizon Suited properties, currently has casual housekeeping opportunities. We seek dedicated individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Training and safe handling of cleaning products are provided to successful applicants. Shifts are rotating across weekdays and weekends with start times between 8:00am and 9:00am.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks and standing long hours.
• Clear communication with guests, team members and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including beds, floors and bathrooms.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated hours.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets and safety standards.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Build professional relationships with guests and colleagues to foster a positive work environment.

Job Description

Oaks Adelaide Horizon Suitedis excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiplecasualopportunities now available.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.38 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
