Job summary

Golf Recruitment Central is seeking a reliable housekeeping professional to clean guest rooms and public areas, with responsibilities spanning event setup, pack-down, and stores duties. The role offers an average of 20 hours per week with shifts on weekdays and weekends from 6:00am to 2:00pm.

You will work under the Clubhouse Operations Manager, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, coordinating with other departments, and supporting the events team in setup and breakdown.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role in a quality hotel environment.
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience with use of chemical and commercial cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping tasks for guest rooms and public areas, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist events team with setup, bump-in/bump-out, and pack-down of functions.
• Deliver linen, towels, and supplies to rooms as needed.
• Manage stock and stores, including ordering and storage and reporting discrepancies.
• Rotate perishable stock and ensure safe delivery of stock; manage garbage room and loading dock.
