Job summary

The Langham, Gold Coast, a luxury hotel on the beachfront, seeks a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to coordinate and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring exceptional guest experience and impeccable cleanliness across all areas including rooms, laundry, public spaces and F&B interfaces.

You will support the Executive Housekeeper, model exemplary leadership, and drive performance with a focus on quality, timeliness, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotels and supervising teams to high performance.
• Strong focus on quality of service and hospitality.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain standards across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with Housekeeping Department activities to ensure guest service and cleanliness in rooms, laundry, public areas and meeting spaces.
• Lead by example to deliver a high level of service within timeframes and exceed guest expectations.
• Support Executive Housekeeper in day-to-day operations and drive consistent quality across the team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Assistant Manageryou will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the activities of the Housekeeping Department to ensure high levels of guest service and satisfaction with cleanliness and comfort of guest facilities. This includes; rooms, laundry (uniform), public areas, meeting space, F&B Outlets and ensuring colleagues across the Team provide bespoke service, maintain consistent standards and create memorable experience.

As our Housekeeping Leaders you will support the Executive Housekeeper with the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department and lead by example to deliver a high level of service within allocated timeframes to ensure we are exceeding our guests’ expectations and delivering on our operational commitments.

Our Housekeeping Assistant Manager will be a true quality experts – passionate about quality in all forms, from the product, to the service, team and delivery! To be successful in the role you will have been in the same or similar position/s at a luxury hotel and proven experience supervising teams to meet a level of high performance across cleanliness, productivity and operational commitments.

• Luxury Hotel experience is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and good problem-solving skills
