Job summary

The Langham, Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping Department across luxury hotel and residences. You will manage an internal team and an external contractor, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest experience.

You will oversee budgets, labour costs, productivity, and compliance, recruit and coach staff, and foster a positive workplace culture while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior housekeeping leader within a hotel, resort or luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading large teams and managing outsourced or contracted service providers.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, quality assurance standards and workforce planning.
• Experience managing budgets, payroll, labour productivity and departmental financial performance.
• Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and good problem-solving skills

This role is responsible for overseeing a housekeeping operation consisting of both a dedicated internal team and an external housekeeping contractor. Success in this role will require strong leadership, collaboration, quality assurance, and the ability to build effective partnerships to deliver exceptional results.

You will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, coaching and developing team members while fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.
