Surf Hotel in Torquay is seeking casual housekeepers to join our team at one of the town’s newest boutique hotels. With summer around the corner, it’s a great time to work in a beautiful beachfront location with a friendly team and an eye for detail. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

We’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic people who take pride in providing a great guest experience in a welcoming environment by the sea.

Qualificações

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of WHS and responsibilities.
• Great people and communication skills with an eye for detail.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service and enhance guest experience.
• Open/close hotel facilities.
• Advise guests on local recommendations, tours and activities.
• Daily cleaning of hotel rooms and common areas including reception, office, laundry and wellness space.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Complete room cleaning within allocated timeframes while upholding Surf Hotel standards.
• Restock cleaning products and linen daily.
• Report maintenance issues to the Hotel Manager.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Respond to safety and security issues.
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude toward guests and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Hotel Manager or General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide exceptional customer service and enhance guest experience
• Opening/closing of facilities
• Provide guests with local recommendations, tours and activities
• Daily cleaning of hotel rooms and common areas including, restaurant reception, office, laundry, wellness space
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel
• Complete room cleaning duties within allocated timeframes, while maintaining
• Surf Hotel’s standards of quality and presentation.
• Restock cleaning products and linen daily
• Report any maintenance issues to Hotel Manager
• Follow all work health and safety procedures
• Responding to safety and security issues
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude towards guests and team
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Hotel Manager or General Manager
