Deluxe Laundry Co. is seeking casual housekeepers to service premium Airbnb and short-term accommodations across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Join a high-end housekeeping team focused on presentation, cleanliness and guest experience.

You will clean, strip and make beds, stock linen, dust, vacuum, mop, and ensure every property is immaculate between guest stays. Flexible shifts and advance scheduling, above award pay, training and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Personality, attitude and work ethic are key; formal cleaning qualifications are not required.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is advantageous but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Strip beds and make beds with fresh linen.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and general housekeeping.
• Ensure surfaces are hygienic and immaculate.
• Check property presentation and attend to presentation details.
• Prepare homes to high presentation standards for guests.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or damages.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and conscientious Casual Housekeepers to join our growing housekeeping team servicing premium Airbnb and short-term accommodation properties throughout the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

We are a high-end commercial laundry and housekeeping business committed to delivering an exceptionally high standard of service. We believe that presentation matters, the little details make all the difference, and our housekeepers play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for preparing beautiful holiday homes between guest stays, ensuring every property is spotlessly clean, fresh, welcoming and ready for the arrival of its next guests.

Your duties will include:

• Stripping beds and making beds with fresh, beautifully presented linen.

• Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general housekeeping.

• Ensuring kitchens, bathrooms and all surfaces are hygienic and immaculate.

• Checking property presentation and attending to those little details that make a difference.

• Preparing homes to our high presentation standards for incoming guests.

• Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, damage or items requiring attention.

Previous housekeeping, commercial cleaning, hotel or Airbnb experience is advantageous, but not essential. We are happy to train the right people who have the attitude and work ethic we are looking for.

HOURS & SCHEDULING

This is a casual position with hours varying according to guest bookings and property requirements.

We understand that flexibility works both ways, which is why we schedule staff shifts up to one month in advance, allowing you to plan your life around your work.

Additional shifts are also offered throughout the month as new bookings come through.

A few things to know:

• Most cleaning shifts take place during normal weekday business hours.

• Weekend and public holiday cleans are very rare.

• Our busiest periods are during Queensland school holidays, particularly Christmas, Easter and other peak holiday periods.

• Availability during school holiday periods is essential.

• Flexibility to accommodate varying workloads is important.

WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING

Our properties are located throughout the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland, including:

• Mapleton

• Montville

• Maleny

• Peachester

• Beerwah

You'll enjoy travelling through some of the region's most beautiful countryside, visiting stunning homes and working in some truly lovely surroundings.

A reliable vehicle is essential, as you will travel directly between properties.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Your own reliable vehicle and current driver's licence.

• A working mobile phone with an active credit or phone plan.

• Flexibility to work varying casual shifts.

• Availability during Queensland school holiday peak periods.

• The ability to travel between properties throughout the Hinterland.

• A positive attitude and an excellent work ethic.
