Job summary

CatholicCare Diocese Of Broken Bay in Sydney is seeking a House Supervisor for the Intensive Therapeutic Care program. This permanent full-time role blends hands-on leadership with trauma-informed care to support vulnerable youth in a therapeutic residential setting.

You’ll lead Youth Workers, manage budgets and compliance, and collaborate with clinical colleagues to implement care plans. Flexible work options include 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Social Science, Welfare, Psychology, Health, Education, or related discipline.
• At least 3+ years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
• At least 2+ years of experience leading or managing teams in an Out-of-Home-Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of a therapeutic residential home.
• Mentor and coach Youth Workers and foster professional growth.
• Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance in line with child protection and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Specialist & Case Manager to deliver therapeutic case plans.

As a House Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of a trauma-informed, healing-focused environment—guiding a dedicated team of Youth Workers and supporting young people who’ve experienced significant adversity. This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Sydney Metro house. We provide flexible working options where 3 days of the week will be spent in the allocated house and 2 remaining days can be worked from home or any of our offices. Participation in periodic 24/7 on-call support is required.

What You’ll Do:
